Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/01/2005

Number: 1

This is a FIRST of Ms. Wight!!! Hannah Wright (5th grade) saw 30 monarchs roosing in her trees in her front and back yard throughout the weekend. They were flying 20 ft above the ground. They flew from one oak tree to another and another. They are also in the fields. They stayed Saturday afternoon through Sunday night. They may still be there I have not checked yet. I think most of them are females. This made me feel special to think that I'm the chosen one. E-mail me if you see any roostings.
