This morning, while taking my son to school, I noticed a beautiful Monarch. I live at the edge of a small town, against a wooded area, near Bayou DeView in Poinsett county in Northeast Arkansas. Upon my return, when I exited my vehicle, I saw another, then another. I stood in the yard for only a few moments before reentering the house to get ready for work, but saw five or more just in that part of the yard, at the edge of the trees. On my way to work I spotted another as I drove on Hwy 214 crossing the bayou. I then spotted two more as I approached my workplace at Newport in Jackson county.
