We recently planted a butterfly garden ("If we plant it, will they come/" to see if we could attract the monarchs. It took only a week for our first sighting. We have only seen two so far, but we are keeping our eyes focused for more. We are a K-8 elementary school in north Torrance, CA. and are very excited about our success...small as it is so far.
