Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/04/2005

Number: 1

I just pulled up a letter in the Odessa American that said that they haven't spotted but a few stray Monarchs here in west Texas but I have to report that right now as I write this letter, I have a thousand or more nesting in my oak trees. They starting flying in two days ago and I expect more before they move on. Now the last time we have seen this many, was in 2003. I had planted Lantanas in the front flowerbed, hoping that we would see them again and I am not disappointed.
