Tulips PLANTED

Date: 10/06/2005

Number: 1

With the help of some 5th and 6th graders, my first grade class planted their 20 Red Emperor Tulip bulbs in an area in front of our school. It is about 15ft. from the front covered area facing the east. We hope it is far enough off the walkways so as not to have too much snow pack from shovelling this winter. That is an Alaskan problem! We also planted other species of tulips, daffodils, and crocus in the surrounding planting beds to beautify our school. Our first frost could come any day now!
