We planted our tulips in front of the school at the main entrance -facing west. We also planted some daffodils for variety. The kids were very excited. We had to dig through an inch or 2 of mulch. The ground hasn't frozen yet. During our digging, the kids found remains of bulbs from past years. They wanted to know if we replanted them if they would grow. What a teachable moment!
