Yesterday's high for Kingfisher, Okla. was 50, overcast, wind N16. I have about 25 up in my pecan tree. I was shocked to see about 7 Monarchs venture out about 3pm, 5 continued going SW, and the other 2 turned around and came back to the tree! I found 3 Monarchs on some Trop. mw in a turpor, not moving an inch, So, I cut some flowers, put the Monarchs and flowers in a popup hamper, and brought them inside. They gradually started moving around once they started to warm up.
