This is my third sighting of a Monarch fall roost at this specific location in Carthage Missouri where I lived for twenty years. These sightings have been scattered over a period starting in the late 1950s, then once in the mid 1960s. This years sighting was a a grouping of about 1500 to 2000 Monarchs. Each time before they have only spent one night and are gone the next day.
