This morning (Saturday, October 8) at 9:30 Monarch's were common in Kimble County over our house, 12 miles n.e. of Junction.
10-20/minute were flying south over our house in a path about 100 yards wide. While driving west on the dirt road in front of our house (and thus crossing their path), it seemed like this density was consistent for about a tenth of a mile. I saw a couple of other such groups when driving in to Junction. I don't recall last year, but I think that year before last (or maybe the previous year) we saw them in these numbers.
