I was just in Lake George NY this past week Oct. 5-7 and I have never seen so many Monarchs in my life. It was still very warm and sunny but I was truly suprised to see that many still that north! At my neighborhood, Douglaston Queens, a steady steam have been arriving at my neighbors butterfly bush shrub as well as generally seeing them in the area, along the parkways etc.
