We are about 6 inches below percipitation this year and the trees are very distressed. Many have turned brown and are dropping leaves already, which is very early for our area.

I last saw hummingbirds at our feeders last Wednesday, October 5. They have been friendlier than ususal this year which is encouraging for the hummingbird civilization.
