Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/10/2005

Number: 1

Yesterday and today, the large flight of Monarchs was impressive. 350-400 came thru my yard in a 6 hour period, today 150-175 came thru. They were feeding on a small "sunflower" type plant. I am in central Johnson County, near Cleburne. Common Buckeye's were numerous also. A high count of 17 around noon, today.
