Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/13/2005

Number: 1

Seventh graders started searching for monarchs this morning (8:15-9:30) since they were reported to be roosting in the trees behind the headmaster's house. Temp was 67 and conditions were overcast and misty. Monarchs were seen flying high overhead. We caught one coming off an oak tree roost. Most of the others were too high to reach.
