I didn't expect to see another Monarch this year, but at 2:00 this afternoon I saw one over my garden. This is the latest ever. We have had a mild fall and didn't get a hard freeze yet. It is three weeks since the average freeze date for our area of Sept. 21. The weather has been highs in the low 60"s and lows in the low 40's. I'll keep an eye out for more.
