I participated in the Susan B. Komen race for the cure this last Saturday. My daughter and I do this in memory of my Mother. She is the one that first introduced the miracle of the Monarch to me in the early 60's.The day was even more meaningful by the sighting of 100's of Monarchs' fluttering just above the 30,000 + participants. The weather was beautiful with clear skies and temperatures in the high 80's. What a show they put on for us. The symbolism of them being there was not lost on either one of us.
