We planted approximately 45 bulbs on October 13, 2005. We planted most of them in a landscaped area near our school parking lot. The top of the soil contained some mulch and receives good exposure to the sun. We think that the area will receive excellent moisture. We have not yet had a hard frost so we are hoping the bulbs will do well.
We also planted a microclimate garden that receives poor sunlight and will not receive much moisture. The soil there was rocky. When we watered the microclimate garden, we used very warm water.
