I walked Camp Bullis from Legend Ln to Babcock just now and it is loaded with monarchs. I counted about 24 on one (and smaller groups on other) flowering evergreen sumac. There was one group of 12 on a dead oak tree limb and another group on a hackberry tree. There were other smaller groups along the way. I think I saw at least 50 in all. Also of interest is that the large group had smaller monarchs with them. This is not scientific but I thought it was interesting.
