We have owned a mountain home in the village of Valle de Bravo in the
State of Mexico for many years and it is only 10 miles from our place to
where the butterflies cross the main highway to their nesting areas in
the mountains. There are horses available to ride up to where they hang
from the trees. It is always a spectacular sight and experience,
especially in late February. We live in Dallas and it seems we have seen
more Monarchs going South this year than ever before. We plan to return
to Valle this February with friends and hopefully there will not be a
hard freeze this year.
