Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/20/2005

Number: 1

Another mild cold front (the high will still be in the 80's) has blown through and brought more monarchs. Other than a couple day drop in numbers around the middle of last week, there have been over 200 monarchs in the yard at any one time Since October 9th feeding on Eupatorium greggii and Tropical Milkweed. Today there's easily 400.

October 21
What a difference a day makes. Yesterday there were easily 400 monarchs in my gardens but today there are only about 15. Cold front blew in yesterday.
