Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/17/2005

Number: 1

Another massive flight of MONARCHS came through this week on
October 17-18. 3,000 were counted at roost sites/sheltered
spots in Cape May Point in the dunes and in backyards. Many of
them migrated out of the area on the 19th, but some can still
be found in gardens with blooming Butterfly Bushes and in the
dunes where SEASIDE GOLDENROD is still blooming.
