Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/22/2005

Number: 1

The monarchs are pouring across the bay in big numbers both yesterday and today. I have had no time to count them or spend much time with them but likely several hundred to a few thousands have come on to the front beach the last two days. They often end up traped on the balcony here. I see 3 out there right now. They eventually figure out how to get out.
