Last Friday,on one of the rare sunny days we've had this Fall, we uprooted our sunflowers and planted our Red Emperor Tulips. We noticed lots of holes around the garden and birdfeeders and suspected our two chipmunks, Chip and Dale, but this morning I looked out to see a strange grayish brown shape. At first I thought it was a mourning dove, but then I realized that I was looking at a Pine mouse. It is living under the compost bin. Although we were interested to see it, we are worried about the fate of our tulip bulbs. Has anyone else had experience with these critters?
