It was a beautiful sunny day. The area had been broken up with a tiller but was still very hard and dry and difficult to dig. Although it was a chore to dig, we persevered until we had regulation 7 inch holes. We walk by this area each day. We also had a guest speaker from Iris City Gardens located in our community to speak to the students about bulbs and assist in the planting.
