After several pre-planting activities, the weather was perfect for planting. My 7th grade Life Science and 8th grade Earth Science classes each planted a garden along opposit sides of a walkway. We had prepped the soil, added bone meal and measured carefully. Over the next few days, the temperature dropped rather significantly and we've had plenty of rain. We may go to 32 degrees at night soon and the ground will soon freeze. We loved going on the web site and seeing where other gardens have been planted. We made educated guesses, some more accurate than others, on the Mystery City last week. Students look forward to seeing our spot on the map at the next update.
