We planted 17 tulips in our little garden today. The sod was frosty, but the dirt beneath was unfrozen. We planted them 7" deep, and 4" apart, and marked the plot with stakes and string. We planted them further away from the parking lot, so maybe this year they won't get covered with plowed snow!
