We planted 42 emperor red tulips. There are (2) 2nd grade classes that participated.
We learn about plant life cycles all year so this activity ties in really well with our science unit. The students each guessed a date of when they think the tulips will emerge in the spring. We have them posted on a calendar in our classroom.
