October was interesting. We finally had our first frost on Friday October 28th with a low of 28 as well. The high was 74. Lastweek my Tomatoe plants on the porch were covered with snow and still thriving. However the lettuce continues to grow in the garden,just picked some. Yesterday,the Ladybugs were fluttering like leaves,have never seen anything like it. Where my husband worked on the other end of the county,the guys were complaining about them flying into their mouths,ugh.Our rainfall for the month was 12.9 inches and snowfall of 5 inches. Quite a month.
