We planted 300 Red Emperor tulip bulbs for the study this year with 100 planted in each of three different soil types. The sun and temperature are similar in each garden section, so the soil will be the variable. We also planted over a thousand daffodils and other bulbs, so the gardens around our school will offer our community a colorful spring greeting from the fifth graders.
