Tulips PLANTED

Date: 10/06/2005

Number: 1

We prepared the ground over two days. Even though we had dug up the tulips from 2004 we still found a few more bulbs. The weather was wet and cool, but the temperature remained above 50 degree F. This year we spent more time creating a special marker for our bulbs. Again we weighed and measured them before planting the Red Emperors in the ground. Predictions were made for emergence and we talked about the weather around the US at this time. Now, we will let our bulbs sleep and wait for spring.
