We dug our tulip gardens 7 inches to 9 inches. Before we planted we weighed our bulbs. It took a long time to dig because of rocky soil. About a week after we planted our bulbs the first frost appeared. It snowed over the weekend and we wonder if it will affect the bulbs later. We had to come up with difficult designs. Ms. Sartori's might bloom first because they get the sun first in the morning. But we know our bulbs will rule! 5-SC :)
