We decided to plant our tulip bulbs near our school flagpole after surveying many areas on our school grounds. Our decision was based upon the results of our survey, and we considered many variables. We planted the bulbs in a horseshoe shape around the flagpole so the custodians could have access to the pole each morning. We chose this location because it's slightly sloped, gets good sunlight, and is far from predators.
