Today we planted our 50 Red Emperor tulips! All of us were very excited, and we selected a special place that met all the criteria suggested by The Journey North. The kids carefully surveyed the area around our school, to determine the very best place for our official garden! The students decided that surveying the surrounding grounds also gives us a better idea about the health of the soil around our school. The kids brought in over 300 additional tulips and other spring bulbs that will be planted around the neighborhood for individual data collection by the students. We are all very excited to be part of the Official Journey North project!
