Our site is very rocky with great deposits of clay. The Journey North site garden was enhanced with growing medium donated by BFG Supply in Burton, Ohio. Our late planting date reflects on the time and weather conditions needed to create the garden site. Our third graders had many "What If" questions. What if you plant on rock? What if you do not plant 7 inches deep?
