I have about 15 caterpillars in my yard at this time. I have a Queen chrysalis, and about 8 Queen caterpillars as well. On 1/9/06 and 1/10/06 I saw a Monarch ovipositing on my milkweed. I have A tuberosa. I do not see any of the native milkweed at all right now. All of my caterpillars with the exception of 1 little guy are just about to pupate. I have seen a Monarch every day this year. I live in north Galveston County, Texas.
