Our first grade class planted our tulip bulbs in an open field behind our school, around a telephone pole. It was an unseasonably warm day with sunshine. We predicted our bulbs would emerge in late March.

The week prior to this, we planted mixed bulbs in an inside courtyard with our Fifth Grade "Reading Buddies". The predictions for emergence varied from March 1st to May 1st. It will be interesting to compare this site with our "test" site behind the school.
