We live at the edge of a large field, and at about 4 pm today saw hundreds and hundreds of male robins (I assume they were all male, most I could see were) swarming and landing in trees and bushes. I've never seen so many robins! There is snow on the ground from a storm last night, but it's been warm and rainy the previous 3 days. Now it is cold 20-30 degrees F. The robins look huge and fluffy.

I'm not a teacher, I'm a realtor, but my wife teaches at nearby Hampshire College. I found your web site while surfing around trying to find if anyone else had seen huge flocks of robins in our area this early in the season.
