Yesterday, January 30, 2006, I noticed that a small clump of tulips was emerging in my garden. They are from 1/4 to 1/2 inches tall. I've never seen tulips coming up so early, but then I've never seen such a warm January either. I suppose I will have to cover them up if it gets bitterly cold during February.
