last year, i observed several large flocks (~100) of robins during this time as well, in guelph. i've also observed robins in several locations around the area, leading me to think that maybe they simply never left. this year so far, i've seen robins on probably ten occasions, though never in the numbers i saw last year. i've also seen more of them foraging on the ground this year, as opposed to simply in the trees eating berries last year.
