20-25 robins were feasting on the shriveling berries of a "Purple Beauty Berry Bush."
They seemed to have been "taking turns." There would be about 8 robins in the bush, while 4 or 5 waited in a nearby holly, and another 10 or 12 watched from a Bradford Pear tree.

Robins come every Feb. for the berries, but do not stay. Some years, the same or a different group of robins will show up a few days later -- if there are plenty of berries, as there are this year.

Other years there have been several starlings traveling with the robins, but not this year.
