There were about 10 robins in the front yard - not sure how many were in the back where my bird feeder is. It was about 48 degrees and cloudy - it was raining lightly when I saw them and about 2 hours later some storms (a cold front) came through - there were a few in some bushes near the house and the others were on the ground (I assumed looking for food) - it was quite noisy but with my bird feeder I get a lot of sparrows and cardinals - I can't differentiate between bird calls except for the blue jay.
I love birds but honestly haven't paid much attention to robins until I had a discussion with my mother and she said that they migrate - never knew that. That is how I happened upon your website. I will definitely look for robins now - they really are a beautiful bird.
