I thought you might find interesting the email I got today from a friend that lives 50 miles SE of Vincennes...

I found a failed robin nest today in Huntingburg, which is in southern IN. It was under an eave at a local video store. There was a single, broken egg beneath the nest, with frozen yolk. The store owner said she noticed a robin building the nest last week. I checked the nest, and it's now empty.
