I heard a robin singing at 8:15 am while walking through the parking lot on my way to work. It was loud and clear and only one bird that I could tell.
It was a territorial song that I heard. It was loud and crisp, and the only one. Getting an early start, I suppose. I had listened to robin songs prior to when the winter watch went out, so I was very excited when I heard the song and realized it was not a morning song or a song for help or danger.
