It's definitely the territorial song of the robin. We have a couple of bird experts in our midst - I'm a coach for the Science Olympiad team's ornithology event - and we all agree they're singin' territory. It isn't continuous and this weekend's snow flurries hushed them a bit, but it's the real thing.

And yes, it is an interesting year. We're all still waiting for a real winter!
