Tulips EMERGED

Date: 02/13/2006

Number: 1

The day before Valentine's Day, our class received the WONDERFUL surprise of Tulips poping out of the ground! We planted 50 Red Emperors in a very controled, specific bed. We are hoping they will all come up, and that our school garden will be a blaze in BIG red blooms before too long. Our school is located about 200 hundred feet above the Puget Sound beach. The emerging plants seem to be healthy and sturdy! They are a mixture of dark green with marron highlights on the tips.
