Snowing as we speak. Should have several inches by the time it quits tonight. It is heading over the Rockies, from there I don't know where. Really fun to be out birding in it this AM.
A first for me: 53 Bald Eagles in one tree, another 100+ on the ground and 16 at the creek eating fish. Through the snow it was a fabulous sight. We also found a Thayer's Gull, an adult Glaucous Gull, and a hybrid ThayersXHerring. A Prairie Flacon, Rough-legged Hawk, several Am. Kestrels and Northern Harriers. Cold, snowy, wet but most satisfying.
