Today was one of the first chances we have had in a couple of days to be outside and check the garden due to wet weather. We were surprised to find our tulips emerging. We're sending a picture of what we found. Emerging sprouts measuring 5cm, some less, a few a little larger. It looks like most of the approximately 40 bulbs we planted are up. We are concerned about our new discovery because temperatures are predicted to reach below freezing tonight and our "greens" are the only green thing around to nibble on. We're hoping neither the weather or a hungry predator interfere with our study.
