Had one single male Rufous Hummingbird visit our feeder on Friday, February 10, 2006. Last year we had five Rufous show up toward the end of February, and they actually stayed around for a couple of weeks before moving on. So far, we've only seen the one male this year, and he only hung around a few hours before moving on. Our main season for Rufous is usually towards the end of July through September on their way back to Mexico.
