I attended the TX Wildlife Society meeting in So. Padre Island this past week. A. currisavica plants at the Laguna Madre Nature Trail on the island had 14 Danaid eggs. I saw fresh over-wintering coastal adult queens and monarchs nectaring on lantana and mist flower.
