I actually only saw one Robin... He was very active with song, and then I heard a couple throughout more in my yard answering back... If I had to guess, I would say there was 2 more close by. When I saw the one, it was before sunrise and it was in a tree right outside my door... I can remember thinking what an unusual sound to hear in Winter... We had just gotten about 7" of snow a couple days before, but that morning was very calm.

I don't think the robin was singing on territory. I think he/ she was just up and about greeting the new day with his buddies.
I only see or hear those little guys in the morning. I really do wonder if
he/she is the same one that has been nest building atop my light mounted
to my outside garage wall.
