2 weeks ago we had a couple of below freezing nights. My Milkweed were covered with Monarch caterpillars so I brought all my potted Milkweed inside. The caterpillars got very busy eating and soon I had lots of chrysalis. We had three hatch out on our porch last week, one male & 2 females. I have 10 chrysalis that I know about right now. They should come out within the next 6-10 days. The ones that have come out were quiet large and very healthy. What a joy to watch them enter the world! My Milkweed are recovering very fast.
